TikTok Shop’s Account Health Rating (AHR) has now fully replaced the old Violation Points system, and it ties your account’s standing directly to how well you fulfill orders and follow platform policy. A weak score isn’t just a bad number on a dashboard. It can limit your ability to list new products, run promotions, and grow on the platform.
The rollout happened in stages: sellers could preview their AHR score starting in May 2026, the gradual transition away from Violation Points began in mid-June, and by July 2026 AHR was live for every seller. If you haven’t checked yours yet, it’s already active in Seller Center under Account Health.
How AHR Actually Works
Unlike the old points system where you accumulated violation points and faced a hard cutoff at a fixed threshold, AHR is a continuous score from 0 to 1,000. Every seller starts at 200 points. From there:
- You earn points for completed orders (roughly 4 points for every 200 finished orders within a rolling window) and for passing policy quizzes.
- You lose points for policy violations, with the deduction scaled to the severity and frequency of the issue.
- Earned and deducted points expire after a set period, so your score reflects recent activity rather than your entire selling history.
The Zones That Matter
- Green zone (200+ points): healthy account, no restrictions.
- Orange zone (51–199 points): at risk of, or already under, enforcement.
- Red zone (0–50 points): at risk of account deactivation.
TikTok also applies specific milestone enforcement actions as your score drops:
| AHR Level | What Happens |
| 150 points | No new listings or mega-campaign enrollment for 7 days |
| 100 points | Same restrictions extend to 14 days |
| 50 points | Same restrictions extend to 28 days |
| 0 points | Account may be permanently deactivated |
Sellers who pass a milestone policy quiz can reduce the length of these penalties. It’s worth doing it immediately if your score drops.

Why It’s Worth Taking Seriously
A dip in AHR can affect your reach, your eligibility for certain features, and your overall standing on the platform.
Higher-tier promotional programs now require a minimum AHR alongside a separate Shop Performance Score, which makes fulfillment less of a backend function and more of a direct input into how much the platform is willing to grow your account.
What To Check Regularly
- Check your AHR score in Seller Center under Account Health. It updates as orders complete.
- Pull your dispatch and after-sales response times for the last 60 days; slow after-sales resolution is now scored the same way slow shipping is.
- Resolve any open violations now. A clean recent history is the fastest way to build a buffer before your next order spike.
How This Connects to Fulfillment
Most of what moves an AHR score up or down traces back to operations you already track for other reasons: how fast an order gets dispatched, how often a package arrives late or damaged, and how quickly a return or complaint gets resolved. That overlap is useful. It means the same fulfillment discipline that protects your reviews and repeat-purchase rate on any channel is also the thing protecting your standing on TikTok Shop specifically. Sellers who already run tight dispatch times and clean inventory sync tend to see this as a formalization of what they were already doing right, rather than a new set of hoops to jump through.
The Good News
Almost every issue that drags down an AHR score, including late dispatch, inventory mismatches, shipping errors, slow after-sales response, is preventable with the right systems in place. At MAX Dropshipping, we help sellers stay ahead of AHR with reliable fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and dedicated support built around exactly this kind of platform requirement.

Quick FAQ
Does my old Violation Points history carry over into AHR?
Yes. Your starting AHR score factored in your shop’s recent activity rather than resetting everyone to zero, so a clean recent history should translate into a healthy starting point.
Can I appeal a point deduction?
Yes. Sellers can submit an appeal through the relevant violation ticket, and previously deducted points are restored if the appeal is approved.
